Carol Sampson is an award winning interior designer for over thirty-five years. As a radio talk show host of the weekly program, LIFESTYLE at KPRO radio in California, she discussed many aspects of interior design. As the House and Home Editor for Inland Empire Magazine in California Ms. Sampson wrote monthly articles about interiors and contributed many other articles to various newspapers and magazines Ms. Sampson taught Estimating for Interior Designers at the university level and has given seminars on the subject to the design community. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. She has been a professional and associate member of IIDA and ASID.
Carol earned a BS degree in Interior Design from Woodbury University. Every year since she has continued taking design related courses to insure up-to-date knowledge on new design procedures, sources and products. As a professional member of IIDA, (International Interior Design Association) this membership identifies Carol as having met the highest professional standards, education and experience achieved in the field of Interior Design. Carol has served as President and held six other Board of Directors positions for the Southwestern Regional Chapter of IIDA
AUTHOR/WRITER:
Carol is the author of numerous interior design articles, also author of Estimating for Interior Designers used in accredited universities curriculum throughout the world. She was the House & Home Editor of Inland Empire Magazine of Southern California for twelve years writing monthly articles about custom interiors, collections, styles, colors, antiques, etc., etc.
TV & RADIO:
Carol hosted “Lifestyles” radio programs discussing Interior Design at KPRO radio for 4 years and a guest on other radio programs. She was the Home Editor for Inland News Digest TV programs on Channel 3 in Riverside, Ca.
OPEN-TO-THE-PUBLIC:
Carol has exhibited her design expertise in various rooms at 5 Designer Showcase Houses. Six of her client’s homes have been on Home Tours.
EDUCATOR: Carol has taught Interior Design courses at the College and University level for six years. She has also conducted design seminars and workshops.
